Peking University Scholarship for International Students (PKUS)

Peking University's own scholarship for new international graduate students offers full or partial tuition waivers, a living stipend and medical insurance. One PKU scholarship application puts you in the running for the PKU Scholarship, the Beijing Government Scholarship and the CSC Advanced Graduate Program.

Deadline: Closed for 2026; the last deadline was 9 March 2026 (9:00 am Beijing time). The next call is usually published in January.

Who can apply

Open to prospective international graduate students with no country limit, so Pakistanis can apply.

  • You must meet PKU's admission requirements for international students.
  • You must have applied to a full-time self-funded graduate programme at PKU for the relevant year.
  • You must not receive any other form of scholarship funding.
  • Joint training programme candidates are not eligible.

With one application in the PKU system you are also considered for the Beijing Government Scholarship and the CSC Advanced Graduate Program; only one award is given.

How to apply

  1. Apply for a full-time self-funded graduate programme on the PKU International Student Service System (studyatpku.com).
  2. Go to Home - Scholarship Application - Application for Prospective Students.
  3. Fill in the form, upload official transcripts and supporting documents, and submit by the deadline (9:00 am Beijing time on 9 March for 2026).
  4. Results were expected by email around July-August.
