UCD Global Excellence Scholarship

UCD's top international award covers 50% or 100% of tuition fees for outstanding non-EU students on eligible undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes. Pakistan has its own earlier regional deadline.

Deadline: Closed for 2026/27; the deadline for Pakistan was 28 February 2026. Expect a similar late-February deadline for 2027/28 (to be confirmed).

What it covers

  • 100% or 50% tuition fee scholarship

Who can apply

  • Only for incoming students classed as non-EU for tuition fees; Pakistani students qualify.
  • You must already hold an offer or conditional offer for an eligible full-time undergraduate or graduate taught programme at UCD.
  • Check that your programme is on UCD's Eligible Programmes list; some programmes are excluded.
  • Only a limited number of awards are made, for outstanding academic records.
  • Scholarships are not renewed automatically. Continuing students are reassessed each year under the award's terms.

UCD also runs a separate International Student Scholarship, which is assessed automatically when offers are made. If you are later charged EU fees, you are not eligible for UCD Global awards.

How to apply

  1. Apply to UCD for an eligible programme as early as possible, since offers can be slow in peak periods.
  2. Once you have an offer or conditional offer, follow UCD's Application Instructions to submit the Global Excellence Scholarship application.
  3. For Pakistan, apply by the regional deadline (28 February for the 2026/27 cycle).
  4. Results come through SISWeb about seven weeks after the deadline.
