- You must have non-EU fee status, billed at the non-EU rate. Pakistani students are eligible; only students from China are directed to a different scheme.
- You must hold a course offer for a full-time undergraduate degree (Year 1 entry) or a full-time taught postgraduate programme at Trinity.
- Excluded: business, engineering, natural sciences, and computer science and statistics (separate School scholarships exist). Medicine, dentistry and acting are also excluded at undergraduate level.
- Selection is based on academic achievement and your potential to contribute to Trinity, with regional and programme diversity considered.

Trinity's Global Excellence Scholarships give exceptional non-EU students with a course offer a one-off tuition fee reduction of EUR 2,000 to EUR 5,000, depending on region. There are separate undergraduate and postgraduate schemes.
Deadline:
Closed for 2026/27; the deadline for Pakistan ('all other regions') was 15 June 2026. Expect a similar mid-June deadline for 2027/28.
