TUM Waiver Scholarship for High-Achieving Master's Students

For students who must pay TUM's international tuition fees (non-EU/EEA nationals such as Pakistanis).

• You are about to enrol in, or are in the first semester of, a TUM Master's programme.
• Awards are based on your academic performance at the institution that awarded your qualifying degree, shown by an official ranking certificate.
• The certificate must give your percentage or rank in the cohort (with cohort size), define the cohort and name a contact person.
• It must be verifiable (online code, qualified e-signature/seal, or original stamp and signature).

Numbers are limited. A merit waiver cannot be held together with the Deutschlandstipendium.

1. Submit your TUM Master's application and note your TUMonline application number.
2. During the window (1 January-31 May for the winter semester), fill in the online form linked on TUM's page.
3. Upload your ranking certificate and translations if needed.
4. If it is not electronically verifiable, post the original so it arrives within two weeks after the window closes.
5. Accept the award in the portal by the deadline.
