The Green political foundation funds international graduates and PhD students at German universities, with priority for applicants from DAC (developing) countries not yet living in Germany. Non-EU Master's scholars receive €992 a month plus allowances. German language skills (B2) are required.
Open to international students who completed their first degree abroad; priority goes to applicants from DAC countries (Pakistan is a DAC aid recipient) not yet living in Germany.
- For a Master's: you have finished a Bachelor's and plan a Master's at a state or state-recognised German university, applying before your studies start.
- For a PhD: you have a Master's from abroad and a detailed research plan.
- You have proof of German at B2 or DSH 1, which is mandatory.
- You show an outstanding academic record, civic engagement, political interest and support for the foundation's green values.
