TUM Deutschlandstipendium

TUM states that international students new to TUM can apply; admission or enrolment at TUM is the prerequisite, so Pakistanis can apply.

• You are enrolled at TUM or have applied and have a TUM applicant number.
• Good grades: a grade of at least 2.40 (German scale), or special circumstances approved by the committee. Master's applicants from outside the EU/EEA give their uni-assist grade.
• You have not exceeded the standard study period and are not doing a doctorate.
• You do not receive other merit funding of €30 or more per month; a merit-based tuition waiver counts as such funding.

To accept an offer you must live in Germany and have a German bank account.

1. Apply for a TUM degree and get your applicant number (or use your student ID).
2. During the online application period (summer), fill in TUM's Deutschlandstipendium form.
3. Upload a cover letter (1-1.5 pages), a tabular CV (max. 2 pages), grades and proof of commitment, all as PDFs in German or English.
4. If selected, accept the offer and provide a German address and bank account.
