Qatar University offers a competitive, merit-based scholarship to international students applying from abroad for undergraduate study. It covers tuition and textbooks and provides a monthly allowance, housing, an annual return ticket and residence sponsorship. A high school average of at least 95% is required.

Deadline: Closed for 2026; the international scholarship window ran 1-25 March 2026. It usually opens in March each year.

Who can apply

Open to international students (including Pakistanis) applying for undergraduate programmes.

High school certificate or equivalent with an average of at least 95%.
Final admission to QU and the college's admission requirements.
Not eligible: transfer students, visiting or non-degree students, and those seeking a second bachelor's degree.
You cannot hold another scholarship at the same time.
The committee may consider IELTS/TOEFL and maths test scores (SAT, ACT, QU Math Placer).
To keep it: GPA of at least 3.0, at least 12 credit hours each semester, and continuous registration.

How to apply

Apply for undergraduate admission through QU's online admission application during the international window.
Complete the 'Scholarship Application' section of the same form.
Send your original high school transcript and required documents to QU Admissions as instructed.
Nominees receive a conditional acceptance; QU arranges the visa after final admission.
Watch your email for the final admission and scholarship decisions.
