HEC Need-Based Scholarship Program

• Enrolled, or securing admission on merit, in a 4-5 year undergraduate programme at an HEC-selected participating public sector university or degree-awarding institute.
• Students who are already enrolled (for example in the 3rd semester) can also apply.
• Eligibility is based on financial need, which the university's Institutional Scholarship Award Committee assesses from the family's financial background.
• Each university decides its number of slots and disciplines within its allocated grant.

Not eligible: students admitted on self-finance, students of affiliated colleges, students at non-participating universities, and students who already receive financial assistance or a scholarship from their university or institute.

1. Get admission in an approved discipline at a participating university.
2. Collect the scholarship application form from the university's Financial Aid Office, or download it from HEC's Downloads page.
3. Submit the completed form with supporting documents to the same Financial Aid Office. HEC does not accept forms directly.
4. Attend the review or interview by the Institutional Scholarship Award Committee.
5. Funds are paid through the university. You do not need to reapply every year.
