CMEEF gives fully funded merit-cum-affordability scholarships to KP-domiciled students. They cover approved undergraduate and graduate programmes at leading Pakistani institutions, and PhDs at Top 300 QS universities abroad. What it covers

Who can apply

  • Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with parents'/guardian's total monthly income not above Rs. 100,000.
  • Undergraduate (inland): meet the merit admission criteria of an approved institution in an approved discipline, and hold no other scholarship for the degree.
  • Graduate (inland): age under 50; first-class academic career (first division or CGPA 3.0/4.0 or 3.75/5); at least 50% GRE/GAT for MS/MPhil or 60% for PhD.
  • Graduate international (PhD): age under 45; at least 60% in international GRE/GAT; a valid unconditional offer for an approved PhD at a Top 300 QS university.

How to apply

  1. Inland undergraduate and graduate: apply directly to the selected institution in an approved discipline, following its CMEEF scholarship process.
  2. International PhD: get an unconditional offer from a Top 300 QS university.
  3. Fill the application form specified in the CMEEF Rules.
  4. Submit it with all supporting documents to the Project Management Unit before the closing date.
