BEEF Scholarships (Balochistan Education Endowment Fund)

BEEF was set up in 2014 on the PEEF model. It gives merit and need-based stipend scholarships to Balochistan students, both in Balochistan institutions and in public institutions in other provinces. Applications go through each institution's focal person, based on the merit lists the institution sends.

Deadline: BEEF announces its schemes each year. Its homepage says the Out of Province Scholarships Scheme is now open for applications, but no closing date is given.

Who can apply

Within Balochistan (BS/professional, MS/MPhil):

Enrolled in a 4-5 year BS or professional programme, or MS/MPhil, at a Balochistan institution.
CGPA 3.0 or more and a place in the department's Top 10 or Top 15 merit list sent to BEEF. First-year BS selection uses intermediate results.
Special Quota relaxes the criteria to 45% or 2.5 CGPA for listed categories, and some slots are purely need-based.
At least 75% attendance; no failed or supplementary exams.

Out of Province: Balochistan-domiciled students at public institutions in Punjab, Sindh, KP, AJK, GB or ICT, with at least 60% or 3.0 CGPA and a place on the institution's merit list. Private institutions are excluded.

Students holding other scholarships are not eligible.

How to apply

Check that your institution has sent your name to BEEF on its merit list.
Download the BEEF Scholarship Application Form (SAF) for your scheme from beef.org.pk.
Attach the required documents and get the form verified by your Head of Department or focal person.
Submit it through your institution's focal person or Financial Aid Office. Individual forms are not accepted.
