University of Waterloo International Student Entrance Scholarship

Open to all international fee-paying students (including Pakistanis) admitted to a full-time, first-year degree programme at Waterloo.

• You must be enrolled full-time (three or more courses) in your first and second terms.
• You must remain an international fee-paying student.
• There is no limit on the number of recipients.

Not eligible: Medical Sciences / Doctor of Medicine (St. George's), Social Work, Optometry and Pharmacy students; transfer students with transfer credits; students who deferred from a previous year; and 2+2-type programmes.

You can hold this award together with any other Waterloo entrance scholarship. The faculties of Mathematics and Science also offer separate awards of up to CAD 80,000 for international students.

1. Apply for admission to an eligible full-time undergraduate programme at Waterloo.
2. No scholarship application is needed; eligible students are awarded automatically.
3. Check the Awards and financial aid tab in the Waterloo applicant portal from mid-April.
4. The award is applied to your fall and winter tuition bills.
5. Check the separate Mathematics and Science international scholarships, some of which need their own application.
