Tampere University Tuition Fee Scholarship

Tampere University awards a small number of 50% tuition fee scholarships to top fee-paying applicants, and gives all other fee-paying students a €2,000 early-bird discount in year one. Only nine tuition scholarships were awarded in the 2026 admission.

What it covers

  • 50% of tuition fees for the programme duration (scholarship)
  • €2,000 early-bird reduction on the first-year fee for other fee-paying students

Who can apply

Open to citizens of countries outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland studying in an English-taught programme, so Pakistanis qualify.

  • You apply for a Tampere University bachelor's or master's programme taught in English.
  • You apply for the scholarship in your admission application during the application period.
  • Awards go to exceptionally qualified applicants based on an overall academic assessment of your documents and scholarship letter.
  • Not available for open university route or transfer applications.

Master's fees are €12,000 per year, so you must fund the remaining fee and your living costs.

How to apply

  1. Apply for admission through Studyinfo.fi during the application period.
  2. Apply for the Tampere University scholarship in the same online application and add a scholarship letter if requested.
  3. The scholarship decision comes with your admission result.
  4. If you are not awarded, accept your place and pay within 21 days to get the early-bird discount.
