The KTH Scholarship covers the full tuition fee of a one- or two-year Master's for fee-paying students. In 2026, 65 of 718 admitted scholarship applicants were nominated. Selection focuses on academic excellence and your plan to contribute to sustainable development.

What it covers

  • Full tuition fee for the first and second year (second year depends on satisfactory results)

Who can apply

Open to fee-paying students, which includes Pakistani citizens.

  • You applied for a KTH Master's as your first priority on universityadmissions.se and paid the application fee.
  • You meet the admission requirements of the programme.
  • Your programme is eligible: all Master's with two years at KTH, plus a few named joint and one-year programmes (joint Erasmus+ and EIT programmes are excluded).

Assessment looks at your GPA, the ranking of your Bachelor's university, research, work or teaching experience and awards, and your motivation to contribute to the UN sustainable development goals. It does not cover living costs.

How to apply

  1. Apply for a KTH Master's at universityadmissions.se as your first priority.
  2. Between 1 December 2026 and 15 January 2027, submit the scholarship form on the KTH Scholarship page.
  3. No extra documents are needed; KTH uses your universityadmissions.se documents, which must be in by 2 February.
  4. Results are announced on 1 April 2027.
