Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi supports full-time international Master's and PhD students through tiered, merit-based scholarships. Top tiers cover full tuition, and PhD research-path tiers add a monthly stipend of AED 20,000 plus possible allowances. There is no separate scholarship application.

What it covers

Master's Tier I-II: full tuition, textbooks, free university accommodation, medical insurance, flights, UAE visa fees
Master's Tier III: 50% tuition waiver plus textbooks, insurance, flights and visa fees
PhD Research Path Tier I-II: full tuition, basic monthly stipend of AED 20,000, additional monthly allowance of AED 10,000-20,000 subject to approval, conference support
PhD Research Path Tier III: 75% tuition waiver and AED 20,000 monthly stipend
PhD Study Path Tier I: full tuition, AED 4,000 monthly stipend and accommodation

Who can apply

Open to qualified international students (including Pakistanis) enrolled full-time in Khalifa University graduate programmes.

Applicants are assessed during admission and placed in a scholarship tier based on academic merit and other criteria.
Scholarship places are limited.
PhD Research Path awards carry a commitment to work for Khalifa University or a nominated entity after graduation for as long as the study period.
PhD students are reassessed for the scholarship every year.

Master's awards include free accommodation (Tier I-II), textbooks, medical insurance, flights and UAE visa fees.
