Macquarie is a public university on a 126-hectare parkland campus (Wallumattagal Campus) about 15 km from central Sydney, inside the Macquarie Park innovation and business district. It is known for industry-linked, work-integrated degrees and one-year master's options, and is the only Australian university with its own metro station; students come from more than 115 countries.

Entry requirements for Pakistani students

For direct bachelor's entry from Pakistan, Macquarie lists completion of the first year of a 4-year bachelor degree at a recognised university, or a completed 2-3 year bachelor degree; the Pakistani HSSC/FSc is not listed as a direct-entry qualification, so school leavers usually go through a Macquarie University College Foundation or Diploma pathway. GCE A-Levels are accepted.
