University of Manchester Global Futures Scholarships (South Asia) - Undergraduate

Merit scholarships for undergraduates from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka starting at Manchester in September 2027. Each award is GBP 12,000 a year for three years, taken off international tuition fees.

What it covers

  • GBP 12,000 per year tuition fee discount for up to three years (up to GBP 36,000); continuation requires 60% each year

Who can apply

  • You must be an international fee-paying student domiciled in Pakistan (or Bangladesh, India or Sri Lanka), meaning you have mainly lived there for the last three years.
  • You must be applying for direct first-year entry in 2027 and have, or be working towards, A-levels or the IB Diploma.
  • You must be self-funded (not sponsored).
  • You must make Manchester your Firm UCAS choice by 15 May 2027.
  • The course must be full-time at the UK campus. Medicine, Dentistry, Architecture, foundation-year courses and blended or distance programmes are excluded.
  • Students who have already studied in the UK are not eligible.

Selection is based on predicted and achieved grades and your personal statement.

How to apply

  1. Apply to Manchester through UCAS for an eligible course.
  2. Once you have an offer, Manchester emails you the scholarship form automatically (from December 2026).
  3. Complete and submit it by 30 March 2027.
  4. Make Manchester your Firm choice by 15 May 2027.
  5. Award offers are made by 1 May 2027, conditional on your results.
