Rhodes Scholarship for Pakistan

For the Pakistan constituency you must:

• Be a citizen of Pakistan holding a Pakistani passport.
• Have studied at an educational institution in Pakistan for at least 4 of the last 10 years, and either passed Intermediate/A-level (or equivalent) in Pakistan or hold/expect an undergraduate degree from a Pakistani university.
• Meet the age rule: aged 18-23 on 1 October of the application year, or under 27 if you finished your first degree later than usual (check the exact dates for your cycle).
• Complete a bachelor's degree by July of the entry year, with grades meeting your Oxford course requirements (a First or GPA of about 3.7/4.0 makes admission more likely).
• Meet Oxford's higher-level English language requirement if English is not your first language.

Only one of the two awards can go, in total, to candidates who studied their undergraduate degree outside Pakistan or apply inter-jurisdictionally.

1. Read the Pakistan Information for Candidates, Conditions of Tenure and referee guidance on the Rhodes website.
2. Choose one or two eligible Oxford courses.
3. Complete the free online Rhodes application during the application window (usually June to early August), including your statements, CV and four referees.
4. Shortlisted candidates go through the Pakistan selection process and interviews.
5. If selected, you then apply for your Oxford course through Oxford's graduate application, with support from Rhodes House.
