- You must come from a lower-income background; the award is based on financial need.
- You must have submitted a complete admission application, including references, for a full-time Master's at UCL for the relevant year.
- Distance-learning programmes are not eligible; you must study in person in London.
- Some awards are ring-fenced for other countries (e.g. India, Japan), but the general pool is open to Pakistani applicants.
- You can hold it alongside other funding, depending on the total amount, but you must tell UCL about any other awards.

A needs-based award for international students from lower-income backgrounds who want to do a full-time Master's at UCL. Up to 85 awards of GBP 15,000 each were offered for 2026/27.

What it covers
- GBP 15,000 for one year, applied first to tuition fees, with any remainder paid towards living costs
- For two-year programmes, paid 50% in each year
