Padua International Excellence Scholarship

The University of Padua gives up to 76 scholarships to brilliant international students on English-taught degrees. Each award pays €8,000 gross a year and waives student fees for up to two years (master's) or three years (bachelor's). Applying for the degree is enough to be considered.

Deadline: Calls for 2027-28 will be published in November 2026; deadlines follow the degree admission notice.

What it covers

  • €8,000 gross per academic year (two instalments of €4,000)
  • Exemption from student fees (only regional fee and revenue stamp payable)

Who can apply

Open to international applicants; Pakistanis qualify if they meet these rules:

  • You do not hold Italian citizenship (dual citizens excepted).
  • For master's: you hold a foreign degree; for bachelor's: a non-Italian secondary school diploma.
  • You are not resident in Italy when you apply.
  • You apply to an English-taught Padua degree before the admission deadline.

Degree course committees pick winners on academic excellence. You cannot hold other scholarships at the same time, and you must earn at least 20 ECTS by 30 November of the following year to keep it.

How to apply

  1. Read the call for applications (the next one is expected in November 2026).
  2. Apply for an English-taught Padua degree within the admission deadline.
  3. No separate scholarship form or extra documents are needed.
  4. Check the results on the university website and follow the acceptance steps in your notice.
  5. Complete enrolment to receive the payments.
