Up to five full scholarships a year for the Oxford 1+1 MBA, covering both the one-year Master's and the MBA. They are for people who want to find scalable, sustainable solutions to big social challenges.

What it covers

  • Course fees for the Master's degree and the MBA
  • Grant for living costs of at least GBP 21,805 for each year of study
  • Mentorship, scholar events and a possible New York trek

Who can apply

You are considered, in order of priority, if you are:

  1. A new applicant to the Oxford 1+1 MBA who is admitted both to a partnering Master's programme and to the MBA (wait-listed applicants are not considered).
  2. Admitted to a full-time one-year Master's that is not an official 1+1 partner, and separately to the MBA.
  3. A current Oxford Master's student admitted to the MBA who was not considered the year before.

Selectors look for a career focus on world-scale social challenges, leadership potential, strong academics (degree results, GMAT/GRE, prizes), integrity and a clear vision for how the 1+1 MBA will help you. The page sets no nationality restriction.

How to apply

  1. Choose a 1+1 MBA partnering Master's programme.
  2. Apply to the Master's by its own December or January deadline, and to the 1+1 MBA by 6 January 2027.
  3. In the Funding section of the 1+1 MBA application, upload a scholarship essay (max 500 words): how you intend to change the world and what this says about you.
  4. Shortlisting is in early April; interviews are in late April or early May.
