Universiti Teknologi Malaysia is a public university focused on engineering, science and technology, with its main campus in Skudai, Johor Bahru, and a campus in Kuala Lumpur. It also teaches computing, built environment, management and education. UTM publishes flat programme-field fees for international students, which keeps costs relatively low.

Applicants below the score can take UTM's Intensive English Programme or the ELS CIEP; A-level and IB applicants are exempt at undergraduate level.

Entry requirements for Pakistani students

HSSC/Intermediate accepted for direct undergraduate entry: Engineering needs at least 75% in Mathematics and Physics plus Chemistry or Biology; Computer Science needs at least 75% in Mathematics plus two relevant science/computing subjects; Science, Social Science and Built Environment need at least 75% in three relevant subjects, plus faculty requirements. UTM no longer offers its Bridging Programme for international undergraduates from Semester 1, 2026/2027.
