Questions

What is the NUST merit formula?

NUST merit for Engineering, computing & all NET programmes: NET 75%, HSSC (FSc) 15%, SSC (Matric) 10%. ACT / SAT (national seats): NET 75%, HSSC (FSc) 15%, SSC (Matric) 10%.

How do I calculate my NUST aggregate?

Turn each part into a percentage, multiply it by its weight and add them up. For example, with 70% in the NET, 85% in HSSC and 90% in SSC: 70 × 75% + 85 × 15% + 90 × 10% = 74.25%.

Which marks do I use if my FSc result is not out?

Use your FSc part-I (first-year) marks out of the part-I total until the final result is announced, unless the university says otherwise.
