How this is calculated
The calculator uses the simple proportion: percentage = CGPA ÷ scale × 100 (for example 3.2 out of 4.0 is 80%). It is a quick estimate.
- Your university's own formula comes first. Many Pakistani universities print a conversion table on the transcript or publish one on their website. If an application asks for a percentage, use that table.
- Universities abroad usually want the CGPA itself, with your transcript. Some ask for an evaluation by a credential service (for example WES for Canada and the USA), which converts it for them.
