Questions

What is the MDCAT merit formula?

MDCAT merit for Public and private medical & dental colleges: MDCAT 50%, HSSC (FSc) 40%, SSC (Matric) 10%.

How do I calculate my MDCAT aggregate?

Turn each part into a percentage, multiply it by its weight and add them up. For example, with 70% in the MDCAT, 85% in HSSC and 90% in SSC: 70 × 50% + 85 × 40% + 90 × 10% = 78%.

Which marks do I use if my FSc result is not out?

Use your FSc part-I (first-year) marks out of the part-I total until the final result is announced, unless the university says otherwise.

Formulas checked on the official admission pages on 31 October 2026. Universities can change them each year, so confirm in the current prospectus. Dareecha is not affiliated with any university.
