Questions

How is the aggregate calculated?

Each part is turned into a percentage (marks obtained ÷ total marks × 100) and multiplied by its weight. For NUST, for example: NET % × 0.75 + HSSC % × 0.15 + SSC % × 0.10.

Which marks do I use if my FSc result is not out?

Most universities use your FSc part-I (first-year) marks until the final result is announced. Enter part-I marks out of the part-I total.

How do A-level students enter their marks?

Get the IBCC equivalence certificate for your O-level and A-level grades and enter the equivalent marks and totals shown on it.

Is the aggregate the same as the closing merit?

No. Your aggregate is your own score. The closing merit is the aggregate of the last student admitted to a programme; it changes every year with the number of seats and applicants.

Formulas checked on the official admission pages on 31 October 2026. Universities can change them each year, so confirm in the current prospectus. Dareecha is not affiliated with any university.
