The University of Debrecen is one of Hungary's largest public universities, in the country's second-largest city, and runs a long-established set of English-taught programmes. It is especially known among international students for medicine, dentistry and pharmacy, alongside engineering, IT, business and sciences.

Entry requirements for Pakistani students
A study-gap rule applies to citizens of Pakistan (and Bangladesh, Syria, Afghanistan, Burma, Yemen): maximum 2-year gap for foundation and undergraduate programmes, maximum 4 years for graduate programmes.
