Documents to bring
- Valid passport - Valid for the whole stay; include old passports showing travel history
- Travel plan and accommodation details - Dates, where you will stay and estimated trip cost
- Bank statements - Must show the source of funds and that you can access them
- Employment letter - On company letterhead, showing role, salary and length of employment
- Business registration / invoices - If self-employed, to show ongoing business
- Student enrolment letter - If studying, from your institution on letterhead, confirming leave of absence
- Invitation letter - From a host, business or event organiser, if applicable
- Sponsor documents - If someone else pays: their funds, your relationship to them, and their UK status
- Child documents - Birth certificate, parent's passport copy and consent letter if under 18 and travelling without a parent
- Certified translations - For any document not in English or Welsh, with the translator's details and signature
