Founded in 1088, the University of Bologna is regarded as the oldest university in the Western world and is one of Italy's largest public universities, with campuses in Bologna, Cesena, Forlì, Ravenna and Rimini. It offers a range of international degree programmes taught in English, mainly at master's level.
