- Proof of English - B2 SELT, UK degree, or Ecctis reference for an English-taught degree
- Bank statements - Showing £1,270 held for 28 days, unless your employer certifies maintenance
- TB test certificate - Required for applicants from Pakistan
- Criminal record certificate - For education, healthcare, therapy and social-services roles
- Relationship evidence - If your partner or children are applying with you
- ATAS certificate - Only if your employer says your research role needs one
- PhD certificate / Ecctis reference - Only if you are using a PhD for salary points
- Certified translations - For documents that are not in English or Welsh
