- Appointment confirmation email - Printout

- Employer's Declaration form - Completed and signed by employer
- Employment contract - Signed by both sides, current joining date
- Job description - From the employer, e.g. job offer
- Degrees and transcripts - Both attested by HEC
- Proof of degree recognition - anabin printouts or Statement of Comparability
- Pre-approval (if any) - Section 81a or Federal Employment Agency approval
- Travel health insurance - From travel date until German insurance starts
