Documents to bring
- Valid passport - Valid at least 6 months from travel date; include all cancelled or expired passports
- CNIC copy - Copy of your National Identity Card (Islamabad visa office requirement)
- Family Information form (IMM 5645) - Fully completed, dated and signed
- Schedule 1 (IMM 5257 SCH1) - Only if you answered 'yes' to any background question
- Bank statements - Last 12 months, showing account balances
- Other proof of funds - Pay slips, property titles, pension or investments; sponsor's financial documents if someone else is paying
- Employer letter - Letterhead, dated within 3 months: leave approval, position, salary, employer contact details
- Business documents (if self-employed) - Commercial registration, tax certificate, 6 months of corporate bank statements
- Travel itinerary - Flight and hotel reservations or plans in Canada
- Invitation letter - If visiting friends, relatives or a business
- Previous travel history - Copies of previous visas and entry/exit stamps from the last 10 years
- Certified translations - Required for any document not in English or French
