Which marla size should I use?
- 225 sq ft: Most housing societies and development authorities (e.g. LDA, DHA Lahore).
- 250 sq ft: Used in some societies and city areas.
- 272.25 sq ft: Traditional revenue marla used in land records (fard) and farmland.
If you are buying a plot, check the size in square feet written in the society's allotment letter or the sale deed. Two "5 marla" plots can differ by more than 200 sq ft.

What is a square yard (gaz) in marla?
