Remove photo metadata
Photos from phones hide the camera model, the exact time and often the GPS location where they were taken. See what is inside, then save a clean copy without changing the picture.
Settings
Each photo is checked for camera details, date and GPS location. The clean copy keeps the picture exactly as it is, including its rotation and colours.
Your photos are processed by your own browser and are never uploaded.
How to use it
- Choose one or more photos, or drop them on the box.
- Adjust the settings; the result updates straight away.
- Download each file, or all of them as one ZIP.
Questions
Does removing EXIF reduce quality?
No. For JPG, PNG and WebP the hidden data is cut out of the file directly; the picture itself is not re-saved, so quality is exactly the same.
Will the photo still be the right way up?
Yes. Phones store rotation in the same hidden data, so the tool keeps a tiny rotation note and removes everything else.
Are my photos uploaded to Dareecha?
No. The tools run inside your browser: your photos are read, changed and saved on your own device. Nothing is sent to our server, so it is safe for CNIC, passport and family photos.
Is there a limit?
No sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. Very large photos (over about 50 megapixels) may be slow on older phones.
Which formats work?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP everywhere. HEIC photos from iPhones open in Safari; in other browsers, set the iPhone camera to "Most Compatible" or share the photo as JPG first.
