Error correction (higher = survives more damage or a bigger logo, but more dots)

Made in your browser by Dareecha's own QR encoder: nothing is uploaded, and static codes never expire. Test with two phones before printing.

Tips for a code that always scans

    • Dark on light. Phone cameras read dark codes on light backgrounds best. Avoid light codes on dark backgrounds.
    • Leave a border. Keep at least 3 to 4 modules of empty space around the code, especially on busy designs.
    • Small logo, high correction. A logo hides part of the code; error correction H lets it survive. Keep the logo under about a quarter of the width.
    • Short content, bigger dots. Long text makes a denser code. Shorten links and print dense codes larger.
    • Test before printing. Scan with an iPhone and an Android phone, in the light where it will be used.

    Questions

Which number format should I use?

Use the full international number with the country code, for example +92 300 1234567 for Pakistan. Spaces and dashes are removed automatically.

Is this QR code generator really free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit. The codes are "static": the content is inside the code itself, so they never expire and keep working even if Dareecha goes offline.

Do you see or store what I put in the code?

No. The code is created by your own browser, including any logo you add. Nothing is uploaded to our server.

Will my code still scan with a logo and colours?

Usually, yes. Keep a dark code on a light background, leave a border around it, and keep the logo small; the studio raises error correction to H when you add a logo and warns you when contrast or logo size could cause problems. Always test with two or three phones before printing.

    Which format should I download?

SVG for printing on any size (it never gets blurry), PNG for websites, WhatsApp and documents, and JPG where a white background is needed.

How big should I print it?

At least 2 cm wide for short links and 3 to 4 cm for Wi-Fi, contact cards or long text. Larger is better for posters read from a distance.
