Kilo is a coding assistant that works as an agent: you describe a task and it helps write and change code for you. It runs as an extension for VS Code and JetBrains editors, as a command-line tool, or in the cloud.
Developers can pick from more than 500 models, including open weight ones, or plug in their own API keys without extra markup. Local models are supported for people who want to keep code private. The project is fully open source and was recently acquired by Anaconda.
