How much money to show for a student visa
The amount each country officially asks students to show for living costs, converted to PKR at today's rate.
Good to know
- This is the living-costs amount for the visa. Many countries also want proof that you can pay your first year's tuition (or that it is paid), shown separately.
- Banks and embassies use their own exchange rate on the day; keep a margin above the amount shown here.
- Funds usually need to stay in the account for a set period before you apply. The rules are on each country's page and the student visa guide.
- A scholarship that covers living costs normally counts towards this amount; keep the award letter.
