Turkey Student visa: document checklist
- Visa application formFilled online at konsolosluk.gov.tr, printed and signed
- Two photographsColour biometric photos, white background, 5x5 cm
- Passport and copiesValid for 6+ months from arrival. Include copies of previous visas and stamps
- Student certificate / acceptance letterFrom the Turkish institution
- Copies of diplomasUniversity, high school, etc.
- Bank maintenance certificate and statementsLast 3 months. Balance should cover one year's tuition plus living and travel costs
- Travel health insuranceAt least EUR 30,000 / USD 50,000 of cover, including repatriation
- Polio vaccination certificateNo more than 1 year old
- Flight reservationReservation only
- Hotel reservation or accommodation letterAn individual invitation letter must be notarised
- NADRA family registration certificateOr marriage registration certificate if you are married
- Two reference lettersIdentity details, addresses and phone numbers of two people who know you
- Sponsor affidavit and guarantee letterNotarised, if someone else is paying. Must cover return expenses
- Visa interview form and cover letterThe interview form is given at the visa centre
